The GVMA hosted the 23^RD INTERNATIONAL MUSTANG MEET
August 29 to September 2, 2002

This was not a one day show n' shine, it was a four day event!

The International Mustang Meet alternates among seven Canadian Cities, Winnipeg, MB, Saskatoon, Regina, SK, Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary, AB & Vancouver, BC and seven American Cities, Cody, WY, Billings, Bozeman, Great Falls, Helena, Missoula, MT & Spokane, WA. It is held in Canada on even years and in the U.S. on odd years. This was the first time this event was held in British Columbia. The 23^RD International Mustang Meet was held in the City of Richmond, British Columbia. 

Mustangs and Fords came from all over the four western provinces and the western part of the U.S.

The Canadian Long Distance Award went to a Mustang from Winnipeg, Manitoba. 

The U.S. Long Distance Award went to a Mustang from Salt Lake City, Utah.
